It certainly looks very encouraging.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing some work for The Big Lunch at the moment. Have you considered setting up a street party for July 19th? You could share your yield with your neighbours and maybe get them involved with your project in the future. If you're interested the website is here www.thebiglunch.com
Good luck to you and lets hope those carrots emerge soon.
I find that carrots take a while to germinate - mine are certainly being very dillatory. How big is your balcony?
ReplyDeleteYour tomatoes should be fine as long as you don't put them out too soon.
I wish you the best of luck with your project and I will follow it with interest
Hi Maggi!
ReplyDeleteThe balcony is approximately 8 feet by 2 feet - not big by any stretch of the imagination. I'm utilising the balcony windowsill as a sort of 'greenhouse' area - the tomatoes seem happy enough there - no sign of carrots yet!
